GSMO, 8ID, PA OFFICE SYMBOL

ATR logo -     A strategic program that guides every member of “STORMTROOPERS”                              trends genuine transformation. 
ROAD -          Represents the strategic direction of every “STORMTROOPERS”.
6 GOLD STARS -     Represents the six (6) provinces within the region that comprises                            the first area of responsibility of the Division.
8 POINT STAR - Signifies the region where the division was organized and thru which                        the Command has displayed its commitment and faithful service to the country.
2 GOLD STARS -     Represents other provinces that the Command has contribute its                             commitment.
WHITE -         Represents different stakeholders who will be supporting the Commands                         strategic programs towards genuine transformation.
RED -             Symbolizes courage of the “STORMTROOPERS” to face any challenges                          that impede Commands vision.
OLIVE DRAB -  Represents the official color of the Philippine Army.
GOLDEN YELLOW RIBBON - Depicts the richness and everlasting commitment of                           the “STORMTROOPERS” towards organizational transformation.

CIRCULAR DESIGN -  A well-rounded “STORMTROOPERS” that could face any                             challenges that impede transformation.

HISTORY OF THE GSMO, 8ID
The Governance and Strategy Management Office (GSMO), 8ID, PA was activated by HPA effective 01 February 2014 Pursuant GO Nr 156, HPA dated 28 February 2014 and was activated by Hqs, 8ID, PA effective 01 February 2014 Pursuant to GO Nr 374, H8ID, PA dated 10 July 2014.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Office shall be the focal point and primarily responsible for overseeing and managing the implementation of the Army Transformation Roadmap (ATR) in order to insure that the ATR is successfully implemented in all levels.
