Team INNOVATOR under Lt. Col. Alexander N. Salgado based at Barangay Tiptipon, Panglima Estino, Sulu in partnership with Liter of Light Organization headed by Ms. Tessa Sevilla distributed solar-powered lights to Barangay Tiptipon as beneficiary of the said project last April 15, 2017. This program is a sustainable lighting project which aims to bring the eco-friendly solar powered lights to underprivileged communities in the Philippines. The 63rd Infantry (Innovator) Battalion, PA is one of the units of this Command that was sent to Sulu on September 1, 2016 to augment the operating troops in dismantling the Abu Sayaf terrorist group.
